Eugène Nestor de Kermadec

(Paris 1899 - 1976 Frankreich)

Kermadec studies at the École des Arts décoratifs and the École des Beaux-Arts, both in Paris. He contributes work to the Paris Salon des Indépendants and other group exhibitions, yet wider audiences largely ignore his work. In terms of themes, much of his painting revolves around the female body, translating its volumes into semi-abstract planes and bold lines.
