Alexej von Jawlensky, Meditation N. 33, 1935; bought at the Mercury Gallery, London by Jürg Im Obersteg.

Aleksander Rodchenko, Konstruktive Formen, 1918; bought at the Galerie Gmurzynska, Cologne by Jürg Im Obersteg.

Marianne von Werefkin, Der Vorfall, 1932; bought at the Galerie Gmurzynska, Cologne by Jürg Im Obersteg. Although Karl Im Obersteg was a friend of Marianne von Werefkin, he had never bought one of her works. Not till after his death did Jürg and Doris Im Obersteg close this gap in the collection.
